This little bronze cradle is inspired by the way that branches hold the sky, and the way that roots hold the earth. It is a vision of nature's maternal power: Strong, secure, and sublimely comforting.
The stone is Tiger Iron, which is a hybrid of Jasper and Hematite. Hematite, the stone of blood, is grounding and protective, while jasper is a stone of strength, vitality, and confidence. Together, they resemble the Tiger both in their power and their complexly-patterned beauty, with stripes of metallic black hematite and sunset tinged jasper in red, orange, and gold.
