This elegant, pendulum styled pendant is inspired by timeless architectural motifs: Its form resembles the petals of a rococo flower, the gesture of a gothic claw, the dignity of ruins, distant steeples and crumbling towers.
It clutches a sphere of antique jet. Jet is an organic mineraloid composed of ancient plant carbon, and was popular in Victorian times as an alternative to Onyx. It is essentially very pure, very pretty coal. Being mostly carbon, it can also be burned for fuel, which gives it interesting properties as an amulet, rich in deep, dark, ancient earth energy.
