Iris Charm -- Siamese / Large Pendant

This series of iris cabochons is inspired by the eyes of birds and beasts. Each is hand made in my studio, reproduced with uncanny detail and lifelike luminescence. They are framed in an ornate pendant setting of hand-finished brass. In myth, fairy tales, and folk lore, the eyes of animals were associated with witches and sorcerers, as indicators of one's true nature, as components in spells, or as symbols of totemic or talismanic power.
